Description
For induction of estrus in ewes (sheep) during seasonal anestrous. Often used
as an aid to get ewes to breed in the spring season so that lambs can be born in
the fall instead of the traditional winter-spring lambing season. Contains the
natural hormone progesterone. Apply with a sheep CIDR applicator (sold
separately). Administer one EAZI-BREED CIDR Sheep Insert per ewe for 5 days.
After insert removal, use standard flock breeding procedures to breed ewes at
induced estrus. Refer to the extension published research information for CIDR
programs in sheep. Continued research may change current breeding protocols. Use
the CIDR approved for sheep only in sheep. DO NOT use the cattle CIDR product in
sheep. Refer to the product label for complete instructions.
