Refer to the product label for complete feeding instructions. A limited amount of good quality hay or pasture can be fed in addition to this feed as long as the horse is free of dental problems and can effectively chew the forage. A minimum of 0.7 lbs per 100 lbs of body weight (7 lbs for a 1000 lb horse) of this product must be fed daily to meet minimum daily requirements of protein, vitamins and minerals.
