Description
Sold by the block. For all classes of cattle, sheep, and horses. Contains 99.5-99.9% plain white salt to aid in meeting the dietary salt needs of livestock. For situations where supplemental salt may be needed such as when a mineral tub is fed that does not contain salt or salt is not already supplemented in the animal diet.
Should be provided as a supplement only where needed. In general, a complete, loose free-choice mineral/salt mix is more appropriate to meet livestock nutrition needs. Consult with an Augusta Cooperative nutritionist for a complete nutritional program.
