Description
For watering backyard poultry. Galvanized waterers are constructed of heavy-gauge galvanized steel and are designed to be placed on the ground or floor. Edges are rolled for safety. Double wall construction with an inner tube and an outer tube. When the outer tube is inserted over the inner tube, the copper spring and neoprene seal create a vacuum to produce a positive water shut-off and maintain a constant drinking level in the drinking pan. Features a strong arched handle for carrying and a locking pin to hold the outer tube in place. Seams are constructed and tested to prevent leaks. Sloped top to help prevent roosting.
Can be used with a heater base (sold separately) during the colder winter months to help keep water from freezing.
