Description
A mineral designed specifically for weaned cattle that are on pastures or a feeding ration with very high levels of phosphorus. These pasture or feeding situations may lead to higher consumption of phosphorus than in a normal diet by the cattle. Therefore, this mineral contains phosphorus at a low rate and the calcium to phosphorus ratio is higher on the calcium side. This mineral contains a 14:1 ratio of calcium to phosphorus. This should be factored in as part of a recommended overall diet level of a 2:1 ratio. Also contains trace minerals, salt and vitamins. Also contains higher levels of magnesium which may aid in the prevention of grass tetany.
