Tips for the Online Shopper

Items are organized by category and sub-categories which can be navigated using the menu at the top of each page. You can also use the search box at the top of the page to find items. Items may be listed in a grid or a list view. Items may be sorted in the following manner by clicking on the options on the drop down box in the “Sort By” box:

• Popularity
• Average Rating
• Latest
• Low to High
• High to Low

To go an item’s view product details, click on any item image or description on the page. Once you have arrived at the product information page, you can read in-depth product information.

You can add a product to the shopping cart by clicking on the blue “Add to Cart” button. Enter the quantity in the quantity field and then click on the blue “Add to Cart” button. If you select an item by mistake, you can click the red “x” in the cart.

You can then continue shopping or, if finished, click on the “My Cart” or “checkout” links at the top of the page.

Once you start the checkout process, you will be asked to select one of the following options:

Sign In – All customers who currently have an existing in-store Augusta Co-op account. Those customers must choose this option. This will allow you to:

• access additional payment and sales tax options that are not available to all web customers.
• track purchases on your account.
• purchases to be tracked for any patronage dividends.
• have a password protected account.

Create Account – For customers who do not have an existing in-store Augusta Co-op account, you are encouraged to sign up as a registered user. You can enjoy faster checkout and store addresses, sign up for newsletters and promotions, and create shopping lists. This option does not create an active Augusta Co-op membership account that can be used in our retail stores.

Once you have created an account, you will be guided through the checkout process. Final quantity adjustments can be made. Before submitting the order, items can also be removed if selected by mistake. You can also continue shopping if you need to go back and add another item.

Then click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button. All payment and shipping information will be collected. You will have a chance to review the order one more time before completing the checkout process. Once the order is completed, an e-mail order confirmation will be sent to you.
