Description
A special Augusta Co-Op proprietary blend of turf
grass seed that thrives in extreme shade beneath trees. Dark green, fine
bladed turf is well adapted to various climates. Drought tolerant and
disease resistant. Contains the following blend:
- 24.50% Contender Creeping Red Fescue
- 19.65% Boreal Creeping Red Fescue
- 19.60% Viking H20 Hard Fescue
- 19.60% Ambrose
Chewings Fescue
- 9.80% Appalachian Kentucky
Bluegrass
- 4.90% Bonfield Perennial
Ryegrass
Seeding Rate – 6 lbs/1,000 sq ft for new yards or 3
lbs/1,000 sq ft for overseeding at a depth of 1/4″. Seedling emergence
takes approximately 7 to 21 days. Light watering is critical for seedling
germination and establishment. The first mowing can occur 4 to 6 weeks
after seedling germination if good growing conditions have been
present. Mow at a height of 3″.
