Description
Use in conjunction with Miraco/Mirafount waterers (sold separately). Insulated tube allows water line to enter from below ground and be run up inside the insulated tube to the waterer to help prevent the line from freezing. Acts as a “heat well” to allow natural below frost level air temperature to flow up into the tube. Shields incoming ground water from cold as it passes through the frost level. 2″ foam insulation. Black color.
Install most of the tube below ground to aid “heat well” effect
Overall outside dimensions of the tube is 14″ wide X 30″ tall
Can be used in conjunction with a 36″ piece of 12″ plastic drainage tile/culvert in Mid-Atlantic and Southern climates
Northern climates may require two of the heat tubes for adequate protection
