Description
A powder originally developed by the USDA for use on lawns and other grassy areas to kill the grub stage of the Japanese Beetle. The natural bacteria eats the grub from the inside out and does not harm beneficial insects. This form of milky spore can be conveniently applied using a fertilizer spreader. Apply in spring, summer, and fall for 2 years to achieve desired milky spore population. Use on lawns, flower beds, ground covers, and around trees and shrubs. Water in after application. 20 lbs covers up to 7,000 sq ft.
It is critical to apply this spreader form of milky spore multiple times in a year and according to the label directions. If you desire a one time application process for milky spore, use the powder form instead (sold separately).
Do not mow until thoroughly watered in. Refer to the product label for spreader settings and more specific instructions.
